This was an incredibly disappointing and frankly disrespectful experience from both Wayfair and the manufacturer.
The product arrived with completely incorrect screw sizes, making assembly impossible right out of the box. Instead of a simple fix, I was forced to drive to multiple hardware stores just to find screws that would work—spending more on gas and replacement parts than the partial refund that was eventually offered. That alone is unacceptable for a product at this price point.
What made it worse was the way this was handled. Customer service felt dismissive and clearly more interested in closing the case than actually resolving the issue. Offering a return was not a real solution—the box had already arrived open, and the item is extremely heavy, making repackaging and shipping it back unrealistic. That should have been obvious, and Wayfair should have stepped in to properly take control of the situation instead of passing the burden onto the customer.
The lack of accountability from both Wayfair and the manufacturer is incredibly frustrating. This was a clear product defect, yet there was no meaningful effort to make it right.
Between the poor quality, dismissive service, and lack of a real resolution, this was a completely unsatisfactory experience. I’m left out the money and with a product that caused more inconvenience than value.
I would strongly advise others not to purchase this item or buy from this manufacturer—or rely on Wayfair to stand behind what they sell.
