It looks better in my space than I had expected. The top is a heavy solid material. If youre playing on greys mixed with woods, it adds a nice contrast. The only problem is one hole was not drilled fully and the screw had to be sheared off as it became stuck midway.

Exactly as pictured, love it! The top of the table has more brown grain colors than gray, which ties my shelves and wood mantle in perfectly. All you need to put together is the Allen wrench which is included.
