I just feel like it’s pretty banged up. Sad because it’s such a pretty piece.

The drawers are not deep back into the dresser. The outside dimension depth is 18.5 inches. The drawer doesn’t even make it to the 2/3rds mark inside. Photograph attached. Your fingertips slam into the back of the drawer at least 10 times before you get used to the lack of depth. I needed the storage an 18” dresser would have provided. Now the look is tasteful. Lovely black, decently painted and nice hardware. Seriously, what is going on in the back of that dresser? A toddler could hide back there if it could get past the slide drawers…I would not have spent as much knowing there were short drawers. I already thought it was pricey, now it really is for its lack of storage. The drawer in the photograph is as far as it comes out. There is finger length depth left inside. Seriously 1/3 of this dresser is air!

I’m in love with this dresser. It’s so pretty with the unique cast shadows on the front panels. The drawers are small, though. So, if you need a lot of space, keep searching.

After 3 tries with the 1st 2 broken upon arrival, th3rd resend is in perfect condition, solid, stable and without scratches! Absolutely fantastic customer service and support! My only little issue is my wondering why the drawers don't come out further or then why the drawers are so shallow, it is difficult to put more than a few things in each drawer, though In person the drawers certainly appear larger.
