Pros
I was able to assemble it myself, and once assembled, it is a nice, decently sturdy piece.
Shipping was fast (about a week). The fireplace and TV cabinet arrived in two separate boxes with different tracking numbers but arrived at the same time.
The outer box for the fireplace was damaged, but since it was packed inside another box, the fireplace itself was unharmed.
Wayfair has good customer service with timely response times and made a strong effort to resolve my concern.
Cons
I ordered the white fireplace insert but received the black one.
The screws and other assembly hardware were unlabeled and all mixed into one bag, making it difficult to identify them. This led me to accidentally use a screw that was too long to secure the doors, causing it to puncture through one of them.
The cabinet hinge hardware was severely bent.
The instructions only include pictures, which are ambiguous in some areas. This added unnecessary time to the assembly process—if the instructions were clearer, it would have been much quicker since the item doesn’t have many small pieces.
Suggestions
Sort the bag of hardware before assembly to avoid confusion.
If ordering the white fireplace insert, be aware that receiving the black one appears to be a known issue.
Be careful when attaching the doors and use the shorter screws to prevent puncturing through the door.
Check the shipping materials for the fireplace, as the remote was buried inside the styrofoam packing.
