Chaise berçante Capree

This chair is super cute and comfortable. It is perfect for my nursery.

Reclined or closed, this chair arrived permanently frozen in the reclined position and could not be fixed. Even if the mechanism wasn’t broken/defective, retracting the foot rest is very difficult. The quality of the fabric and overall stitching to put it together makes this chair a very poor choice. Note that back is a removable slipcover which was quite tight and didn’t quite close to fit over the backrest frame neatly. The fabric itself has little black specks here and there. We purchased two of these chairs and didn’t bother opening the second box, as this first one unboxed and assembled was such a disappointment. Very grateful to Wayfair’s customer service team for their agreement to accept my return of both chairs for a full refund after their review of my photos and a video taken/submitted to show fabrication defects that were more difficult to capture in photos.

Easy to install, slim and comfy. It reclines two notches, the second notch doesn’t stay in the position for me. I’m 140lbs so maybe it needs more weight? It’s also a little hard to lock the footrest back in. But otherwise it works well for me

Color was darker than pictured, too dark for my needs. Size was perfect for the space.

Great chair! Very comfortable.
