Still sturdy after years

Poor design construction. The main load bearing pieces are stapled on to the main slats. One piece came with the stapled portion already pulled off. I tried to place back together with wood glue. As soon as I tried to lift it up from assembling on the ground, the other side staples pulled out too. Photo is also misleading on the height of the headboard. With a queen bed box spring on a frame, this headboard only sticks over the top about 6”. Will be getting my money back. Would be pretty if it was built better taller.

Love this bed. The side had a small ding but nothing that jumps at you. Matching headboard arrived broken that is why i gave 4 stars, not super high quality. Still very nicely made. My 2 12 year old loves her new bed.
