There was no complexed assembly — I just took the glass out of its padding and placed it on top. The quality of this table is excellent. It has substantial/solid wood. The table has a light, smooth-textured feel. Its light color and size fits perfectly in between my living room reclining chairs. The metal draw slides and door knob has great quality as well.
