It's a little cheap looking but it is sturdy and holds a lot.

Box was obviously opened and resealed. I feel like that was a return that they resold considering the condition. Had several marks and chips on it. The screws don't sit flush, the stupid little stickers they give you to cover them don't do anything and half of them were stuck to the instructions. Horrible instructions and is wobbly. Box was trashed. When I opened it a ton of styrofoam crumbs went all over the place. If it wasn't such a pain to return stuff to Wayfair it would be going back.

Wow. Beyond cheap. It arrived worse for wear, the box in rough shape. I decided to put it together since it is not really possible to do returns right now. All sorts of dings etc. making it impossible to put it together without them showing. But the kicker is the little stickers that were provided to cover the screws -they are joke. Do not buy this product -it should be removed.

Update: When I finally got around to putting the shelf together, I realized that the screws were missing from the box, and when they sent me the screws, they sent the wrong ones. I went to my local hardware store and bought screws. Wayfair customer service was nice and I'm sure they were willing to send the correct ones, but it was my fault for waiting so long to assemble so at this point I figured I'd just get them myself. Assembly time was a little over 2 hours. The directions weren't clear which made the process timely. It was frustrating but worth it. I love my bookshelf. The legs that came with it didn't line up correctly on the wood. I didn't feel comfortable forcing them in because I didn't want the shelf to be unstable once I put weight on it with books. It was an affordable non-stressful fix. I just bought some alternative legs to put on the shelf. Either way, it turned out great and worked out perfectly for my books in my room. My initial post was right. The wood is great quality. I expect this shelf to last for years. Initial Post: Although I have not assembled this shelf yet, as the box is extremely heavy it hasn’t made It’s way upstairs where I plan to place it. I wanted to write a review about the quality of the wood. For there mere fact of the weight, I feel like this shelf will be a great addition to my home library. Looking forward to assembling once I get some assistance to put it together. Will follow up with pictures once assembled.

This book shelf is taller than I expected (I didn’t fully read measurements so that’s my bad). It was easy to assemble. The screws you use to assemble are exposed and they give you small white stickers to place on them. The only downside is the screwsstickers are not very inconspicuous… easily seen. Overall though it’s a sturdy book shelf and worked perfectly for some storage in a basement bedroom.
