UPDATE: There were no dings, just hard to remove black spots. High functionality plus get lots of positive praise from people. Increasing my rating to 5. This island is perfect for my needs. It took two people four hours to assemble. Not difficult, just lots of steps. The tabletop had four dings that need to be fixed. Hopefully Wayfair will fix that.

Well, it’s a great piece for its price. I do recommend 2 ppl but my step mom put it all together by herself on her own in 5 hrs. It came with one hole but the manufacturer and Wayfair handled it promptly and professionally so thats why this got a 5 star instead of 4. Do keep in mind, the hydraulic is in the middle so if you raise it up any, it does become slightly wobbly, just the top part, but other than that it’s really a nice piece for it’s price.

I like the size of the island. The fact that it raiseslowers is fantastic. When I had partially assembled the island, I found there are gaps in the doors and the drawer. When I reached out to Wayfair, they offered to either give me a partial refund of 59.00 or to refund the entire amount with the return of the island with shipping paid by me. I decided to wait until I finished assembly in case other issues were present. After completing the island, I decided that the partial refund was reasonable. When I contacted them to accept the partial refund, they would not honor their commitment. I like the island, but would not recommend Wayfair after this incident.

I love it! It took three of us to put it together but it’s beautiful

This island looks very nice in my kitchen. The assembly was very time consuming but when complete, but for a couple of small cracks, it was the right look and size. I would recommend that the seller be more explicit in explaining that the counter top comes in three pieces creating two seams on the top which takes away from the sleekness of the island. I will need to place tile or other material on top to cover the seams and ensure against scratches, burns, etc. I would rate this island a 7 out of 10.
