update: In December these chairs cracked straight down the middle. I had a cabinetry maker take a clook and he said they had the wood grain running the wrong direction. This happened to 2 of the 4 chairs.... very disappointing. These are solid. Well made and quality wood. They look just like what I also see at high retailers.

I bought 8 of these less than a year ago and 2 of them have recently cracked/separated from normal use of 3 children and 2 average sized adults. I like the way they they look but I am disappointed that they are not holding up well.

Chairs are nice and sturdy! They are also easy to put together. We used a drill.

Love these chairs! Simple to assemble and are very sturdy. The only issue I experienced is the felt on the legs do not stick well when the chairs are slid against the floor. Otherwise great! Everyone said they are comfortable.
