OK. We cheated. Because the height of the Mattawa nightstand was so low, we purchased another to affix another drawer on top of the original. It gives us 2 drawers and the perfect height for our bed. We realized this before we purchased them 5 years ago because of the feedback we saw online. This is our solution and we don’t regret it one bit.

We’ve now had our platform Mattawa king size 5 piece set for over 5 years now and it has held up very well. It has stood the test of time from an aesthetic standpoint and there is little to no wear. Although I’m not sure whether the grain is simulated, it still exudes quality.

Will do a pros and cons starting with con.. Cons - the height of the table in the specification is incorrect. The height is only 17 instead of the mentioned 21. This makes it much lower than i expected - the table i received was definitely a return from someone else. The side rails of one of the drawer was not fixed (picture) Pros - The table looks decent for its price and there is no installation required

I very much regret buying this, and for not returning it immediately as soon as I saw what came out of the box. (I was exhausted from moving and the thought of having to coordinate a return, and wait weeks for a replacement was too much.) But seriously, what arrived versus whats pictured made it feel like an order from Wish. Its plywood with a printed veneer - which was obvious because the corner of the mirror arrived damaged, and the veneer was peeling off. The finish is dark and plastic-like, not vibrant wood like the photos. The corners of the side tables and dresser dont fully align. After a month, the metal accent piece started peeling off the headboard. After three months, the whole bed squeaks badly every time I get up or roll over. I hate that I paid for this.
