This is a well put together piece. The color is a heather grey, not charcoal. This is not a dark gray, not medium gray, it is a light gray color. I always look at the stitching on fabric ottomans and I was pleasantly surprised to see this one had been double stitched. The corners are done well and the tufting is nice and tight. The fabric has a bit of a "slickness" to it, it's a poly blend. Not a cotton feel. This is going to help with the inevitable spill. It is stylish with a little rustic mixed in. It's a generous size and the storage is a bonus. It came very well packaged, on time and no damage. Overall I am very happy with this piece.
