I have been searching for a fully assembled murphy cabinet bed for a long time, and after months of consideration, I decided to splurge and purchase this model! I wanted something that would be easy to open and close on a daily basis, that you’d be able to leave the sheets / comforter on when closed (this eliminated tons of other options because most Murphy cabinets have 3-section mattresses, meaning the sheets need to be taken off every time.) I just received this product today, and Wayfair delivered the insanely heavy box right into the room for me for free!! Mattress is very firm so you may want to get a thin mattress topper for it. Edit: (1 week update) The bed and mattress emitted very strong odors that gave me headaches and a sore throat symptoms for days. It says it is CA Phase 2 compliant for formaldehyde, so just be careful and make sure to let the product air out (off gas) in the garage for a few days before sleeping on it. I’m planning on getting a heavy duty air purifier and potentially sealing it with VOC blocking primer just to be safe.
