This is a very nice night stand with two drawers in a dark finish. The only thing I would have liked better is that the top had a laminate type finish for drinks to avoid marks.

This nightstand has a very nice look and seems to be fairly well built. However, the drawers just slide on cheap plastic blocks, so do not slide smoothly or very easily. Even Ikea uses roller glides for drawers, so disappointed with the poor quality of the Ashley drawer glides. I did not like the look of the bright chrome drawer handles, but found they are non-standard handles (3-1/8 inch screw spacing instead of the standard 3 inch) so they required re-drilling or reaming the holes to install any standard drawer handle. I installed dark bronze drawer handles with copper accents and they look far more classy than the chrome handles.

We bought two of these to go with the matching dresser, and they are nice quality, although a little shorter than we'd prefer, but they work. One word of caution, though - be sure to look closely at the dimensions, as the drawers are pretty small compared to the nightstand. The drawer fronts are about 4" wider than the drawer boxes, so you lose about 2" of drawer space on each side. They're also only about 11" deep, even though the nightstand is 16" deep. Also, the drawers don't open as fully as I am used to , so it's a little awkward trying to load the drawers. This isn't as big of an issue on the nightstands as it is on the dresser, but still kind of weird. Overall, though, I'd still recommend, as they do look nice and are well-made.
