Great set. I did not measure before buying and it’s taller than the room allowed so we couldn’t put the upper cabinets on but still solid without. pulls in and out easily. Took husband about a week to Angela and neighbor had to come over to help secure it to the wall

I like it. Take aa while. But I didn’t get any caps to cover the silver screws like the show in photo. Is this a mistake?

Really nice! Not sturdy wood but does a pretty good job (not worried about it tipping) - great storage

I purchased this for a small bedroom that we wanted to turn into an exercise area, but still maintain a guest bedroom as needed. The Pros: Once all put together it is exactly as shown. My wife was quite impressed with the amount of storage and the general feel of the product. Most of her complaints are related to the gaps around doors. The reality with these products you put together yourself is that even though they have drill holes, nothing lines up perfectly. Course, some of that could have been the guy putting it together and not the product itself. ;) The Cons: With the product itself, my wife questions the weight capacity for the bed itself since it's really just a thin platform with the rails. Based on what I've read online, I'll be getting a memory foam mattress for this, as I've read a traditional mattress isn't designed to stand on one end for long periods of time. The bed will not stay down in position. We presently don't have a mattress on it and that little bit of additional weight may make the difference. There is no locking mechanism for the bed. It's all based on hydraulic arms that pull the bed back up into place. I contacted wayfair about being able to contact the manufacturer to ask about this, and all they had for contact info was a phone number in China. Putting it together: You will need a lot of space to put this together, I ended up moving everything out of the room we were doing it in to make life easier. This came in 4 Large and very heavy boxes. Luckily I had a furniture trolley that allowed me to move these boxes around, just be forewarned. A manual comes with the a parts list for each box. I suggest pulling out each piece and marking it off on the parts list. This leads to another part of the saga. I thought they had missed a couple of parts (and duplicates of others), turns out a couple of parts were mis-marked. I found this out when putting it all together. I contacted wayfair about the missing parts and they said they would send replacements. They did...a repeat of one of the boxes they had already sent! I was going to refuse it and send it back, but since I live in a house and not an apartment, I figured I'd use the spare parts for future projects. But really? The instructions are visuals only...and unfortunately and not the best drawings as they don't show the details for predrilled holes as always needed. They do have QR codes which will bring you to videos of people putting the pieces together. They don't match up perfectly, but I found it helpful at times. Read all of the instructions and match up with the pictures and then think about the layout and future steps. I ended up pulling different pieces apart a few times because I had a panel in upside down or backwards. Thought I had matched up with the pictures, but obviously my interpretation wasn't correct. It's not that hard to redo, but adds to total time to put together. Did I mention you should plan on a couple of days? All in all though, I thought it went together well. The wife noted she didn't hear me cussing as much as I have on other put together units. It will take at least two people to manipulate the bed portion up against the wall and to deal with the hydraulics when pulling down the bed when it hasn't yet been anchored to the all. When you went to pull the bed down the whole cabinet structure would want to move with it. Definitely need at least one, if not more people to help here. Once you connect all of the pieces together that helped a bit with that problem, but didn't eliminate it. On the hydraulics when connecting to the cabinet make sure to pull the bed all the way up into position. That will help you align the pieces. On anchoring to the wall. If you have a stud wall, like I do. No matter what you do you'll never hit a stud on both sides if you anchor using their suggestions of the bracket locations. And based on the way this cabinet wants to pull down when opening the bed, you'll want to anchor into studs. I actually located the studs and screwed through the cabinet itself into the studs, not only did I do this near where the brackets are (or as close as I could get), but also in the side cabinets as well. I may go back and add the bracket locations as well though this will really just mount into the drywall. All TBD. I gave this a 4 star rating because of the overall quality of the product itself. Once I actually have a mattress on it, if I continue to have a problem with it staying down in place, then I'll downgrade it to 3 stars. Haven't used it, since no mattress, but we shall see how it works. Follow up - Purchased a mattress, and it works quite well. It still doesn't totally close at the top. Sticks out a little less than 1/2". I've thought of different ways to address from (piece of wood to act as lock to something that catches on the inside top and holding it when pushing up) but at this time going to leave as is. Let's see how much it bothers me in the future.
