Beautiful cabinet - solid wood, nice quality. A few natural nics in the wood, but expected and natural

The wood is quite rustic both outside and inside the piece- more so the inside which is very rough. There are noticeable areas where "filler" was used where the stain looks different. The handles on one side of the piece were set unevenly and trying to realign them would show at hole. I am happy with the piece and try not to obsess over these issues!

The piece of furniture has nice construction and appearance with curved edges and gold accents, EXCEPT it has barnyard type wood! Super grainy, textured, & varying degrees of black. This totally distracts from the mid-century modern design. I don't understand why they would pare it with this design. I didn't realize from the photos how distressed this wood is. Unfortunately, I have to return it. I tried to make myself like it to no avail.

This piece fits well with my dining room and I love the sideboard over all. I am giving it two stars because of two reasons. One, it says online that the piece comes assembled. This is not 100% accurate as you have to install the legs and handles. Easy enough to screw on but you have to flip a heavy piece of furniture over to install the legs. Not a one person job. Second, in my case one of the handles was short, see picture. I also had the furniture delivered in the wrong place and it cost me to have it moved later. Wish the change in the delivery location was communicated. Called customer service who were apologetic and offered to send a replacement handle. Fingers crossed that the new set fits right.

I was unhappy with the quality and look of this piece. The sideboard is far from what is depicted in the pictures and is a lot more rough/crude of wood and texture. There was also a dust or film on the exterior which most likely came from the packaging. Wayfair was great with resolution and issuing a refund so an extra star was given.
