The finish appears much shinier in the photo. The table I received had a surface that was inconsistent from the photo, with the intentional pitting appearing as black versus the consistent coloring in the website photo. In addition, the table had defects that were escalated to Wayfair. The support team is very responsive though the suggested discount of 15% seems low considering the obvious defects in the table. I did accept because I don’t want to go through the trouble of returning but I would hope that Wayfair employs better quality control in the future
