Beautiful. Sturdy. Soft luxurious. As a single mom with no famfriends nearby, all the furniture building is done by me. Def would be easier if you have 2 pple. But I’m quite capable on my own and I built it by myself. Love how it’s soft but sturdy, high quality, not cheap. Def recommend! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As I was putting it together I was very skeptical….i am 270 and my partner is 340. I was thinking there is NO WAY this bed would be suitable….the pieces just seemed very cheap and not heavy duty at all. Which they are lol BUT once I put the mattress on and we sat/layed/bounced on it, it actually holds up great. It’s likely because our mattress is very thick and firm which helps distribute weight more evenly. Not a forever bed but for the price, can’t beat it. Velvet is soft and rich in color.

Warning! Do not purchase this king size Dunphy bed! It is too narrow to accommodate a 76” wide king mattress. It is only 74.5” wide inside the frame where mattress needs to fit. So the mattress sits on the outside frame, which looks bad and is bad for our new king mattress. The Wayfair web site claimed this bed frame was for a king mattress.’
