I have been searching for months for the perfect vanity chair for our newly-remodeled master bathroom. The design elements were just as important as functionality to me in this space. As our counter is shaving height (with the vanity just a few inches lower), a standard height seat was too short; I needed one that had adjustable height features that didn't scream "office chair." This Matthias Task Chair is just what I needed. Without arm rests, it pushes in almost flush with the counter so that there's still ample room to walk between the tub and the chair. I like that it has casters so that I'm not sliding wood or metal across my new tile floor. And, I wanted something in blue and chrome, which was not easy to find. I do wish it were a tad bit deeper in the seat, but I'm only in it for about 20-minutes max per day to put on make-up; comfort was not my priority. If I were purchasing this for an office chair where I might spend eight hours a day in it, then I'm not sure I'd be as content with my purchase.

Great price, easy to assemble, beautiful addition to my office.

Pretty chair, however, the seat is short and not very comfortable to sit in for an extended period of time.

Love this chair, it’s being used with my daughter’s vanity.
