Absolutely beautiful! When I saw it I knew I had to have it. The gold pieces are plastic and only connect through the wood. Very easy to put together, other than the doors were a struggle to get even. One of my doors glass was scratched but not enough for me to return.

Arrived promptly in good condition. All pieces were undamaged and all hardware was in the package. Assembly was easy and took a little over and hour with one person. Two people would definitely speed it up and make the doors much easier to attach. Good quality overall, doesn’t wobble and the hinges open and close smoothly. Good storage space as well. Very happy with this product.

The [Volney] Storage Credenza is absolutely beautiful. It was also fairly easy to put together. My favorite part is the mirrored doors which I found to be stunning. This is a well made sturdy piece that offers excellent storage options. It has an exquisite formal look and can be used in an entry way, living room or family room. This is definitely a keeper which I highly recommend to friends and family.

When we opened the box, there is a piece of board that was broken. I was so devastated, but as we were inspecting the parts and the illustration in the instructions, we realized that it was not one of the parts but just a packing board. It gave me scare though. The sticker saying that it’s not a part was small. Anyway, the wood “texture” and color was slightly different from the photo online. It looked a bit in the orange brown. I was hoping for a bit neutral or gray brown, but it’s okay. It still looked beautiful.

So it went together fairly easily. The door screws were too short so had to use longer ones,other than is was a quick assemble. My husband and I had to move to place our Christmas tree, we were so psyched to see the Christmas lights play off the gorgeous mirrored fronts, It is a stunner. We removed everything, lifted it literally just to the other side of the room, my husband left as I put back in place my two lamps I love and the tv, I turned to walk away and a leg gave and the entire thing feel breaking the two lamps and even shattering one three feet away. The stand hit me in the back of the legs and caused me to fall with the tv’s fall being cushioned by my back. It was devastating. I of course contacted Wayfair and shared my story and my concerns about the safety of the legs. The anchor which comes already in place came out of the leg. It must have loosened when we lifted it and then the leg must not have been square when we set it down. We are accepting a replacement bc we love it so much, But are purchasing metal legs separately to better secure the weight of the stand. So this is hard ,bc Wayfair has ALWAYS been good to me as a consumer and super responsive. Yet, I feel a duty to share any issues, especially ones that could cause harm to someone. We still love it enough to have it in our home. And you get to make an informed decision.as
