Perfect size pub table, chairs are from wayfair too

This is a very stable and attractive table to look at, and is easy to assemble, however, it is not as functional as I would have liked. The problem has to do with the space in between the legs and the lack of an overhang of the tabletop. Because there is only about 2-inches of overhang, you have to pull the chair well into the space between the legs in order to tuck-in to the table. A chair will fit in this space, obviously, as well as the chair’s occupant once seated, but there isn’t enough clearance between the legs to get into the chair if it is set at the right distance away from the table for eating; you can’t slide into the chair so positioned because your knees hit the table legs as you try to get in (the chair is too close to the legs because there is so little overhang). Getting into the chair becomes impossible if it has arms or doesn’t swivel. Because bar height chairs are so high off the ground, it is difficult to adjust their location once you are in them, so to use this table you either have to use backless stools that allow you to enter from behind, although even then your knees might hit the legs as you swing them into place in front of the stool, or chairs that swivel. Otherwise you have to set the chairs far enough away from the table to comfortably get in them, and then hop them forward until you are close enough to the table, then hop them backwards to get out. I had already destroyed the original packing material before I realized this design flaw, so I couldn’t return it. So I decided to buy a new pedestal base for it instead so I could at least use it. It’s perfect now. You can easily get into and out of the chair without hopping or hitting your knee.

It arrived with a crack halfway through the top.

We ordered this table for the frame and put a larger table top on it. It looks great!
