Lovely piece, exactly as advertised. I have received compliments on this plant stand.

It is okay, the “plates” that are on the stand (on which items sit) are loose. They are in no way fastened to the stand itself.

I ended up spray painting the metal frame Satin Black as I did not like the gold touches or shiny finish. And then sealed the slate stone with brick/stone sealer so that I don't get water marks. (I don't think they were sealed.) That darkened the stones and now matches other pieces. There was a small chip on one of the stones as well... so I superglued that back on. The piece is the perfect size and materials to match other furniture. But I did have to put some work in to it. I should get a partial refund for all the fixing and materials. But I hung in there as it was the perfect small size for where it needed to fit. An unusual size.
