Woburn Metal Base Drafting Table

I love this studio drafting table. Sturdy, attractive and easy to use.

The finish on this table is hideous...not at all like photos. In reality it's like a gold finish that someone then sponge painted random black paint onto. It's a large heavy table so not an easy return. So instead, I spray painted all of the metal solid black and thought great! Good to go. Wrong. The lifting mechanism is very flimsy which is scary because the table top is heavy. Also one of the places you need to place a screw, the receiver thread is at an odd angle making it impossible to screw into unless I remove the receiver piece and replace it -which is way beyond my skill level. Save your money, this purchase was a disappointment.

We absolutely love this table! It arrived very quickly and the box it was shipped in was very thick so it was well packaged. The table is extremely heavy and well constructed. It was easy to put together and all of the parts were included. I love it so much that I've decided to order a second table for my art studio.

I like the size and the shape, I had thought it was solid wood, but only a veneer. Which is already coming off the edges.

The idea of the desk tilting is great however, there’s no way to easily change the angle you basically need two people to manipulate the hinges on both sides, which means the tilting mechanism is basically useless. Also, it won’t go completely flat even with two people
