The entry to my front door is tiny. This ottoman is the perfect size to put near the door to sit on when removing winter boots. It also holds scarves, gloves, etc. The upholstery on the lid has flattened out a little on the corners, but nothing major.

I have this storage ottoman in cream to go in front of a floral chair. The color works perfectly and so does the size. It matches what I expected based on the dimensions listed. The legs on mine are a medium brown wood. I placed a vintage (16-inch square) checkerboard with some decor pieces in similar wood tones on top of the ottoman. I am using it to store throw blankets and I will remove the checkerboard to use it as a footrest. The only assembly required is attaching the legs and it takes minutes. This is a great piece at a reasonable price.
