I ordered the 43in ottoman for my husband’s office/game room at home. It was a birthday surprise to help put the final touch on the room and make it cozy and inviting, etc.
I received the wrong item (2 days late). I didn’t realize the size was wrong until I assembled it and placed it in front of his sofa and thought “waitttt this is smaller than what I ordered….” Sure enough, I was sent a 30in ottoman instead (see the photos - the box that arrived has the item number on it, if you Google it, it takes you to a listing for a 30in ottoman.)
Wayfair support handed me off to deal with the manufacturer. First the manufacturer tried to give me a 20 percent refund. I turned them down. Pretty sure that wouldn’t even cover the price difference. I just want what I ordered, which is the 43in ottoman. The manufacturer came back and told me they’d send me the 43in ottoman, but now they’re asking me to send more photos after I already sent them multiple photos. Seems like they are just trying to waste my time and get me to give up. Well, hey, guess what? I am petty, persistent, and perimenopausal. I don’t give up.
Anywho, the 30in one is cute, it seems like a good item. It’s just not what I ordered. This review is more about my experience and how a warehouse shipped me the incorrect item and now I’m getting the runaround. This is the last item I will ever buy at wayfair ever again.
