Not leather. Vinyl looks like it belongs in a diner. Difficult to assemble.

Initially, the color was darker than I thought and I was unsure if I would keep it. After some rearranging, I sat on it the next day and was pleasantly surprised. The covering is very soft and supple and gives off the look of a high-quality leather. The seating boasts a soft firm feel that features just enough give to be comfortable. Seating area is wide enough to fit 4 adults comfortably with room to spare. Construction seems solid and built to last. Its is a neutral color that can blend with any color scheme, and the style is timeless. After all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would purchase again ! Thanks Wayfair for delivering quality goods at great prices..

I really like how leather soft it feels. I wasn't expecting that.
