Looks gray from the lighting but it is white. About 3 hours to assemble.

I assembled item myself. It took about 1 hr and directions were clear and easy to follow. This is pressboard with a veneer. The quality seems good for the price My main concern is that the finish is supposed to be cherry, but it looks more like espresso. My other cherry furniture is somewhat lighter with red-tones. It seems to be an okay item for the price.

This is a really nice bookcase! It is gonna go really well in my office space. The directions were crystal clear and the whole piece was put together within an hour. The only negative of the entire experience is that there are many pilot holes missing when putting on the back of the bookcase. It was easily overcome, and I wouldn’t not purchase it for that reason. I highly recommend this product.

I love this bookcase! Perfect in my dining room sitting area! The grandkids love to sit and pick out a book to read. Well made, directions were easy to read and it came together nicely in about an hour
