The bed is ok. Part of the footboard wouldn't come together all the way with the screw/cam bolt, is easily scratched and my husband tried to lay on the bed with my daughter and we immediately heard the wood slats cracking as if they were going to break. I wouldn't recommend an adult laying on this bed, or if you're going to, put something else on top of the wooden slats to offer more support.
