This dining set is well-designed with elegant, curved contour on two short sides of the table and round edges and corners (see photo 1). The overall workmanship is above average (photos 1 and 2). However, it could use some improvement in its manufacturing process - a factory-installed, mis-aligned bolt causes a beam under the table to split (photo 3), and the hole for the dowel on each chair is at least 1/8" too big that renders the dowel useless (photo 4). Furthermore, it would nice if more care were given to avoid minor defects (photos 5, 6, and 7).

I really wanted to give 5 stars instead of 4 because the set looks so great! The chairs are comfy and wood seems very good quality. However, the instructions say to "unlatch" the table when you take it out of the box to extend. The latches were never secured before they packaged it. Thus, the table force-expanded itself causing a couple wood pieces to split in the box. Also a chip in one of the chair legs. That particular box had been re-taped as if punctured. Hope the company can secure the latches/shipping issues foe future orders. A partial credit was given though and I'm super happy w/the set! Broken wood is on the bottom of the table and not visible/doesn't impact stability.

This dining set definitely exceeded my expectations. We do not use our formal dining room often and did not want to spend too much money on it. This set looks more expensive than it is and fit our dining room perfectly. Table is very good quality. You could tell chairs are not as high quality but still fairly comfortable to sit on for a long time so works for us. If you are looking for a moderately priced dining room set, this is a great choice.

The package arrived on time without any damages. It is very beautiful as pictures shows. I love it. I bought it when it was on sale and I am sure I never could find any dining set better than this. I am happy to have it and very satisfied with the whole process.

Exactly what we expected. Everything was very easy to put together.
