The Henderson Dining Collection features a modern interpretation of Amish style with simple, clean lines, rounded edges and solid wood construction. This unique mission design trestle table features an 18” self-storing butterfly leaf that extends the table from 70" to 98" with equalizing cable glides and radius-tapered legs for an old-world feel with modern features. The 12-step dark, rich brown finish enhances this dining set adding lustre and warmth, and the slat backs chairs have contoured seats for added comfort and style. I was very surprised by the quality of these chairs. They are almost identical to some Amish chairs I looked at but at a significantly lower price. We ordered 6 of these chairs. They are easy to assemble. They are very comfortable to sit on with the larger seat and curved back (just like the Amish chairs). They were surprisingly heavier than I expected which I correlate with actual real wood furniture, something that is harder to find these days. The color matched our current dining room table exactly. I’m very happy to have found these chairs!
