Grande tête de lit Malinda

This headboard is simply beautiful. The wood is good quality. It’s slightly heavy. The only bad thing was the screws it came with was too short, so the panel is slightly loose, need to get longer screws. It took me 35 minutes to assemble it. I recommend it but have longer screws available to assemble this headboard .

Once finished this bed looks nice, but the instructions don’t match the actual pieces. It is easy to figure out the correct way to put it together. Getting all the on the individual slats to lineup with the top and bottom boards can be a bit frustrating and takes some time and patience, also know that the little pegs can break when fitting the pieces together. The camlock also don’t all lock easily as the slats don’t always line up flush against each other. From a distance, it looks good.

This is a high-quality piece, that was rather easy to assemble with two people. However, it was very confusing and difficult to mount to our existing bed rail. We ended up using long bolts on both sides to secure it with washers and nuts. Wish there were more instructions included about how to mount it to a bed rail.

This is a nice looking headboard. I like the mission style. It’s kind of light weight. It was easy to put together, the pieces fit together nicely. However, several of the Cam locks didn’t secure well when tightening them and they pop out of the finished product. We fixed it by using wood glue to glue each of them in there securely. It’s a nice looking product but definitely sort of mid range quality.

Great headboard and looks so good in our primary bedroom!
