Beau meuble mais arrivé coin brisée

I don't write a lot of product reviews, but felt compelled to share my feedback for this unit. I've built a lot of self-assembly furniture over the years. Typically when I buy something brand new, I expect it to be the cleanest it'll ever be. With this product, that was not the case. Firstly, there were large pouches in the box that I believe served a purpose similar to silica packets. I'm not sure if they were leaking, or if they had just absorbed more moisture than they could handle, but they were WET. I had to towel dry some of the pieces of the unit, and sanitize them for fear that the substance may not have been entirely water. In addition to the moisture, the pieces themselves were not very clean. A few of them had purple markings around some of the edges, and two of them had fingerprints in a similar color (one pictured). My guess is a purple marker was used to trace the piece before it was cut, and it transferred to someone's hand as they picked up the piece to move it. I ended up sanitizing/wiping down almost every wood piece as I was installing it. The pieces of metal hardware were not clean either, and my hands were turning brown the more I worked with the bolts and washers. These are things that should have been handled in the quality control process, which seems lacking. Some bits of the grey finishing chipped off as I was removing it from the box, luckily all on the underside or in the back. There's also a small dent in the faux marble top, which luckily will remain hidden underneath an item that will sit there permanently. All in all, it's not a bad piece. Once put together it looks very nice in my living room. I just don't ever expect to have to clean something that should be fresh from the factory as I'm assembling it at home.

We love the new TV stand with marble top. Takes 2 people to put together.

I thought it was going to be white but it is grey. It wo back panels were broken but they are shipping me new ones.

This was just what we needed! Great quality, easy to put together, and looks amazing in our space!
