I really like this sideboard display. The assembly was relatively easy, and most of it can be done with one person. There are a few steps where it is easier to have a second set of hands, but it isn't required. If you are on your own, I recommend bribing someone with the promise of an adult beverage and then have them help you out. Balancing the doors is probably the most challenging task, but it was not horrible by any means.
The product was well packaged and survived some iffy handling on the delivery truck. I was impressed by the fact that nothing was damaged.
My only concern is the middle shelf, which is about 30 inches long. The minute I put something on there, it started to bow. The figure that is directly centered is about 1.5 pounds, and that should not make the glass bow the way it did. I put something else in the middle with less weight and it did the same thing. It is a concern, and that is why I lowered my rating to 3 stars. I will say the image provided by the manufacturer with the books is not a fair representation. I know it says there are flexible partitions, but showing the glass as rigid in that image is a bit misleading.
Finally, I do wish they offered this display with the double doors on the opposite side, so that you can put two of them together, and it would look uniform. I only say that because, despite my rating, my wife would like a second one to match what I bought for this display. I will post an update based on the glass for the second display.
