They are ok - the backs of our chairs were a little bent. We got the white chair and I didn't notice in the picture there is a black piping all around the seat next to the silver. Have to look closely

Seat Finish:White
We have had our 3 stools for two weeks now. Good, solid bar stools with simple, clean lines that look great in our home. They function beautifully. Very comfortable without taking up much space. Exactly as shown in the advertisement. Pros: Very easy to assemble. After setting up the first one, the others took about 6 minutes each.
