Table de chevet flottante avec tiroirs coulissants

To start off, I ordered two white nightstands. After a delay, they showed up and one was white and one was black. So I’m still waiting on the other white nightstand to be shipped. This nightstand is decent, but not great. The assembly instructions are hard to follow. The diagrams aren’t displayed very well. Upon installing the track for the shelves, you have to take the inner piece off so you can mount it to the drawer on the side and the inside wall of the cabinet. I attached some photos of the install to show better how it’s assembled. The rails are greased so you will have that on your hands. Just wipe it off wherever it gets on. It’s not a big deal. The metal cam nuts don’t seem to secure very well. The unit does feel pretty solid once it’s assembled. Make sure you mount the cabinet to the wall before installing the drawer. I didn’t use the supplied anchors. I chose a different anchor. (there are other units that come with a metal bracket system for mounting to the wall. I’m not sure of the brand though.) When you put the rails on the side of the drawer, use the slots that are adjustable up and down. From the position shown in the picture, you just go up a smidge and that will center the drawer into the opening. I chose not to install the light. There’s no clear instructions on that and it wasn’t interested in having a light anyway. Plus, the back wasn’t drilled out for the hole like it shows on the website, but you can easily put tape over the material so it doesn’t splinter and drill a hole. If you’re looking to hide the wires, you can probably space it to sit off the wall a little bit and run the wires behind the unit or possibly put some flat stock on the unit and drill out for some holes. That’s just extra work though. It looks good and does what it’s supposed to do. So I’m happy with it.
