It's red.My cat can't get under it. It is firm and well made. It seems like it will last a long time. The down side to this is that it shows dust/dirt easily that sticks to the velvet and this makes it hard to clean it completely with a lint brush and a sticky lint roll. This has to be done on at least weekly.

It's a very nice couch, but the pearl color is a very light grey. It does not have beige or pink tones. I requested swatches from Wayfair and from the manufacturer, by phone and by email, but I received nothing, not even a response. So I ordered the couch and now I have to return it because the grey does not work in my room.

It looks better in person. It's firm. The fabric is luxurious.

This is a really robust piece of furniture! It is heavy and solid. The color is a nice mid-tone navy, not too dark or too light. The couch arrives firm and the pillows overstuffed, so I know it will last many years. Only two things to point out before purchasing: the fabric attracts A LOT of lint, much more than other performance velvets I've had. But it vacuums up nicely, just know you will need to do that frequently. Also, the wood at the base on ours is a dark walnut color, not the light blonde wood in the picture. You can't really see it unless you are on the floor, so not a huge problem for us, but wanted to mention that.
