The mat works well as a floor protector and looks nicer than a plastic one. It’s great for a home office. It does flatten out, but the creases from where it was folded never fully go away. I even tried ironing it with a towel over it. It made it better, but still not perfect.

UPDATE Three machine washes and the fabric on top has separated from the rubber backing. The rubber backing is very good at keeping the rug in place, but now that the fabric has separated, there are bubbles and wrinkles. There was also some unraveling on the edges. This desk chair was causing scratches on the wood floor. We had a hard plastic Matt, but the wheels were very loud rolling over it. This rug seems to have solved that. It has a good rubber backing, so it stays put. I am hoping that the creases come out as it settles in.

Just added to the room. Color and the mat looks good as of now. Not sure how it will hold up when washed.

Great for the space. However, it arrived with a small stain which is why I only rate it 4*.

My daughter absolutely loves this mat!
