This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. Synopsis - Awesome king size platform bed. We were in the market for a frame to hold our new king size mattress we were upgrading to and ended up with this Messancy 14" steel platform. Since purchasing it in November of 2025, we've had no issues with it at all and it has held our bed well since then. The only small thing I've noticed is that some of the screws come loose every now and then. I simply went in and tightened it up and we were perfectly fine.
