Works fine. It’s thin but does its job.

Looks great with our king size bed. Easy to put together.

This ended up being perfect for me. I’d not had a headboard at this location before, but decided to look into one primarily to cover some odd paint/drywall issues I was having on the wall at the head of the bed. With a simple, but attractive design, and a price under $100, this headboard seemed worth trying. It arrived a day ahead of the projected delivery date and was not at all difficult to assemble. I opted to attach the headboard to the wall, as opposed to the bed frame, and with the legs being being made of wood, as opposed to metal, I was able to just drill 2 holes in each leg, and then use toggle bolts to make the attachment to the wall. I did not remove the baseboard, but did cut out small sections of quarter round so that the legs could be go directly against the baseboard. This put the bottom of the legs just about exactly the same distance from the drywall as the top of the headboard where the wooden strip runs its full width. To provide a little extra cushion and to protect the wall from any scratching from the 5 screws holding that wooden strip to the headboard, I put adhesive backed felt circles that you would typically use on the bottom of chair legs onto the screw heads. The end product is a very solid and attractive headboard for under $100.
