Small and uncomfortable

I love it so much !!!

Bought this couch for my first apartment and it is a perfect starter couch. I assembled it by myself with no tools necessary. It’s not huge but it’s a good size. My only complaint is that one of the metal pieces necessary to secure the back rest came bent and I could not use it.

Let me start from the beginning. When I was ordering, the pictures did NOT match the color you picked. For instance, if you clicked the Red Velvet option, a gray couch was in the photo. The fine print mentioned that the photo will not match, so it pick the color desired. I wanted the dark gray couch. I placed the order and a week later, got a brown couch. I had to speak with 4-5 different representatives to help me because so many were rude and said I needed to pay an $85 return fee. Finally I got 1 representative that was nice and helpful. She said FedEx would come in 2 days pick up the brown couch and she would make sure I got the gray one I wanted. The day FedEx came, I reached out again to verify I would be getting the gray couch, as I did not want to send a brown couch back and get another one. This specific representative I spoke to was very rude and said I would be getting a brown one. I explained how it didn’t make any sense. They asked if I waned a refund. That is when I said yes. “This has to be escalated to our management team. You will get a response is 1-2 business days”. It has been almost a week and I never received a response or a refund. She went ahead and cancelled the order that was coming in replacement for the brown couch. Unfortunately, I got an email saying the cancellation failed and I would be getting the shipment. Another week later, I got part 1 of the shipment. It was brown. 2 days later, I got the 2nd part of the shipment. It was brown. At this point, I have been fighting back and forth to get the right couch or a refund for 2.5 weeks. I’m over it. We just set up the couch. Now let’s talk about the couch. It is smaller than it appears, first of all. Also, the precut placements for the metal bars DO NOT FIT. They do not line up at all. You have to force them in. The couch is NOT comfortable. You sit on it and it’s hard. You can even hear like a plastic/paper cover crumble when you sit. It is made very cheaply. You cannot even remove the cushions to wash them. I will never purchase from Wayfair again. This has been such a horrible experience. All I wanted the right color or a refund. I couldn’t even get that. This couch is no way worth the price. Don’t even bother.
