It is a sturdy table and the extension insert is easy ro put together, even though I am a senior citizen, with spine injuries. I did it myself. Many compliments were received. The negative part is that it arrived broken. The customer service was most helpful and we resolved the issue. Weathered Natural

This extendable dining table is a welcome addition to any dining room or eat-in kitchen. It's carefully crafted from solid acacia wood with a weather-worn finish that reminds us of our favourite flea-market finds. Thanks to its removable leaf, this rectangular table seats anywhere from six to 10 people comfortably: Think of all the holiday dinners you'll be hosting.

Update December 2025: with minimal use and a protective cover, this table has issues with the top. The inlay seemed to shrink? I added a photo of the gap. I only found out today when I removed the cover (it was time for a new one, which I have done once before because, again, minimal use). I am not even sure how to fix this... .... To be fair, this was just delivered. The table is solid and hefty. The color is very dark, almost a gray black, which is fine by me. You definitely need 2 people to put this together - I opted to have installation and I don't regret it! The table is big even without the leaf (see pic with chairs - yes, I have 8 chairs but took 2 out for a better pic). Either end space doesn't pull up close to the table because of the legs, but when you sit in the chair it is very comfortably spaced. Under the table, when sitting on the side chairs, it is very comfortable too, with decent elbow room (yes, even whithout the leaf and 3 chairs per side). Like others said, around the top's edge is a gap so you might need toothpicks to clean the groove, but it isn't obnoxious. The leaf gap is tight with the clamps in place, so that is also good. The extension mechanism is a chain wheel so it is smooth to pull apart. That said, i would assume it needs to be checked every so often. I can't speak to that since I just got the table.. Sheri. Wide square-section legs in solid rubberwood meet the floor with an intentional mass that most dining tables deliberately avoid. The thick profile, flush apron, and continuous grain across the tabletop create a form that reads as one resolved object rather than a top held up by four supports. Available in 55 inches for four to six people and 71 inches for six to eight, both in two colorways that shift the mood without changing the form. The tabletop is finished to resist water and heat, and the whole assembles without ambiguity.

I recently received this solid wood dining table and overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Here are a few details from my experience: Shipping & Packaging: The table arrived in one large, heavy box. It was packaged very securely, which I appreciated given the weight of the solid oak. Quality & Aesthetics: The material is excellent. You can feel the quality of the solid wood, and the color is beautiful—true to the online photos. It’s a sturdy, well-made piece of furniture. Assembly Tips: Assembly is mostly just attaching the four legs. However, I encountered two small issues: Manual Error: The included instructions were slightly inaccurate. They showed an external nut setup, but the actual product uses internal screws that thread directly into the legs. Hardware Issue: One of the leg’s internal threadings was a bit worn/damaged, making it difficult to align the screw. It took a lot of patience to get it started correctly—make sure not to force it, or you might cross-thread it. Tools: A simple hex key (Allen wrench) is included and is all you need for the job.
