The chairs are beautiful and well made. The packaging box looks roughly handled. But the chairs are not damaged. They are obviously pretty strong. The bottoms of the chair legs have pads to protect the floor. The floor protectors are a little misaligned but they do not show when the chair is upright. Only negative I would say is that the back, which is not padded, is low and not very comfortable if you are sitting a little slumped. But it is fine if sitting up straight. They are well worth the sale price. But they are not so wonderful that they warrant the original price. Love them! These chairs are luxurious - the perfect size for my counter height table. I bought 4 chairs total - two sets of 2. The seat is wide and comfy, and at 42", the back of the chair is tall enough to extend well above the table, giving it a sophisticated look. The packages were very well secured with sturdy supports taped around every edge of the boxes. No damage during delivery. The "instructions" consist of a one-page diagram. The first chair took over an hour to assemble, but most of that time was spent struggling to remove the plastic wrap from the seat cushion. (The wrap was secured first, then a wood section installed under the seat area.) But the rest of the chairs went together relatively easily once I figured out that it's worth the time to loosen that wood section and easily pull the plastic wrap free. This upholstered dining chair provides ultimate comfort and convenience, designed with a stunning rattan body, lushly upholstered cushions, and smartly finished with leg casters.

This is a well-made chair with a substanial white-ish fabric with a seat cushion that is thick and quite substantial. It is very comfortable as a result. My only issues are that the back seat cushion is not attached, so when you get up from the chair it sometimes falls, so you have to prop it up again when you sit down. Also, the wood was not quite what I expected. It was a rather darker "natural" rattan wood color than what it looked to be in the photo online. After three months of ownership and light usage (I am an empty-nester), a major problem happened when caster came off one leg of the chair as I was gently getting up from it. I saw that the bottom of the chair leg had splintered, which caused the caster to come off. Wayfair, however, was WONDERFUL and sent me an entirely new chair when it was determined that the chair could not be repaired. And, they sent it very soon after I called them. I was very relieved as I only had the chair for three months, and it was quite expensive. Customer service at Wayfair is exceptional, so now I have my new arm chair and am enjoying it once more!.
