Would be good as an outdoor high top used a couple of times a year. The stem is true cast iron (it's heavy) but top is a bit thin if you want it for day to day use. Putting it together is relatively easy as there aren't many parts, but I do not like that the top still moves/spins a bit given how it's secured to the stem.
