Okay so this bean bag is better than you'll have imagined. There may be some information discrepancies in the description on the website. The current Crash Pillow is actually twice as heavy as the listed weight -- not 20 lbs, but 40 lbs of shredded memory foam fills this beast. It's conveniently packaged in a box with hand holds, so you can easily carry it despite how heavy it is. And thank goodness it is vacuum sealed with every iota of air sucked out of it. It's so much easier to carry a small dense cube than a giant floppy pillow. Once you open the box, you have to get through two layers of vacuum wrapping, and then you have some fun. You get to shake and flop your new pillow around. It will take up to 2 days to fully 'fluff' to 6 times the packaged size, but it's pretty good shortly after unpacking. I love the cover. I have included a photo of the fabric close up, because it's wonderful. It's super -- and I mean super -- soft, short faux fur. It's very cozy and warm feeling. And the blue is prettier in person than on the website photo. It's darker than it looks in photos because of how reflective the hairs of the fur are. It's closer to prussian blue than navy, with a hint of steel thrown in. Super pretty. I have already used it up on the long side as a sort of hammock while I was working and needed a break from my walking desk. My child has also flopped around on it (he's almost 6 feet tall) and thinks it's ridiculous and wonderful. Yes, it really is ridiculous and wonderful. And like another reviewer said, totally unnecessary. But oh my goodness I love it. I am 5'6" and find it to be the perfect length for me to enjoy, but I think there will be some wiggle room and longer folks will find it adequate too. I appreciate that I can use it flat like a pillow, up on the end like a sort of hammock, or propped partially against a wall for back support. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this particular product to someone who is looking for a giant bean bag. It's incredibly comfortable, and appears to be well made. Since I just received it, I can't comment on longevity, but It appears sturdy, well made, and beautiful. Highly recommend! I am happy with my purchase.
