I bought this at 50% during a boxing day sale and hoped for the best. It arrived a day before expected and found it decently heavy as a package. It was so easy to assemble and includes a rachet tool to assemble then disassemble when or if needed. So helpful. I've never had a slat bed so wasn't sure how it would feel but really like the firm support it gives my mattress. There is a lot of room beneath (16 inches) for storage. I bought this item on line, good and easy transaction and the delivery was perfect. The problem I was facing was: why is this item cost of 169, installation of this bed frame cost 139. Almost as expensive as the item??? So, I started to assemble it with a helper! Impossible to do it on our own, because we have no common sense as how to make this complicated process worked. With lots of frustration and patience, it took us over 3 hours to finally got it done! So, my advise is: if you are not handy or with any common sense of the tools. Buy something easier to installed. Before Vs. After! My old bed frame was awful, would creak all the time and was way too low for me as you can see the height difference but that's what you get with hand-me-downs instead of brand new. Decided that if I'll be home so often bc of what's going on, I might as well be doing it comfortably so I chose this bed frame! Affordable and super super easy to set up! My dad did help but honestly it can definitely be a one person job. Delivery was a bit of a mess with Purolator but overall I love the product. It weighs about 25lbs and comes in this narrow package. My family was a bit concerned about the wooden slats and how this type of style usually snaps in half; however no concerns have come up for me. I'm 135-140lbs and I think this bed is perfect for me- it doesn't creak at all when I toss and turn at night and get into bed late either! Had it for almost four weeks and I love it. Hershey. It is strong and sturdy and allows for much under-bed storage. It was exactly what I wanted. However, delivery was another matter altogether. This huge heavy parcel was dumped in the lobby of the condo building we are moving into, no notice or contact from the delivery company--ignoring the fact that I do not live in the lobby.
