Pros- This glass mat is incredibly heavy and durable, you can tell it is built to last. It is also extremely stable, it stays perfectly in place on the floor and does not slide around at all. It looks very high quality and gives a luxury feel to the room, definitely like a premium product. My chair glides on it effortlessly. Cons- I found that it attracts a lot of dust that is hard to ignore. The biggest annoyance for me is that it is difficult to clean, my vacuum cleaner struggles to go over it properly. Love it so far. I looked at similar tempered glass chair mats online that were nearly twice the price, so this felt like a great value. I work from home and spend most of the day at my desk, and it’s been even better than I expected. We recently installed new medium-pile carpet, and this rolls smoothly and stays solid. I was tired of replacing plastic chair mats every couple of years because they crack, curl, or wear out so fast. Wow! This was a fabulous gift for my husband who works from home but his office chair has now scraped up a section of our hard wood floors. This glass mat is very thick and sturdy especially for a man who weighs 240 lbs! The mat was delivered with 3 diff types of floor protectors clearly outlined for flat surfaces, rug surfaces or carpet surfaces. That was a great idea!
