I was concerned about assembling it without help but I asked the Lord for strength and never skipped a beat. That’s unheard of for a 5’2”, 60 yr old woman with a Harrington rod in spine. First off, this is one of the most unique items I have found on Wayfair. The style is so mid-century that my grandmother threatened to steal the media cabinet from me. This was fairly easy to put together, but I do have a lot of experience with this type of furniture with less than optimal directions. The only the problem I had was with getting the drawer slides lined up. I finally got the top drawer to go in and out, but I just can't get the bottom one. This could be due to me tightening all the bolts too early. The directions do say to tighten to seventy per cent, and I think I was too eager to get the thing put together. I could go through it and loosen everything.But i'm just not going to. The 2 drawers together are the same size as a file cabinet. So eventually i'm going to turn the two drawers into one drawer and just slide it in without any slider. Currently, the bottom drawer just slides in.Without dislider, since I removed them and I think it looks fine anyway. The wood is a nice quality and feels very solid. I wish the item came with little.Stickers to cover up where the bolts are but I can find those somewhere else. Overall, I'm really happy with the item and I can't wait for my light beige rug to come to make this item really stand out. It was packaged really well there wasn't a scratch anywhere. This Entertainment Center is good. The pattern on the front panel is actually antique white as you can see in the picture. The instructions were very clear to assemble the unit. Note that its a huge unit so requires quite a lot of time to build. I took one and half day to build it completely. My 42" TV also fit well without the stands (had to use styrofoam to stabilize it though, but it worked out well for me :)) One thing to call out, drawers and the doors on this unit are not well aligned. The drawers were put per the pre-drilled holes, so there is no scope to adjust them. I tried to adjust the doors by adjusting the soft close cabinet hinges, but no luck. This is a really beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. Mine did come with a crack on the top edge. But it did not affect the structural integrity and so I reported it to the manufacturer. They were great to work with and we came to an agreement that I feel is fair to all. This does come with a marker too in case you scratch something while assembling and so I used that on the crack and though I know it is there, I doubt any guests would ever notice it now. It is heavy so make sure you don’t try and move it by yourself. About 100 pounds.
