Truly a beautiful, comfy couch. We have had it for a little over a year now and love it. It’s very cushy and has great depth. It’s also super easy to clean—most spills/dirt can be wiped with a wet paper towel without a sign of it if you are quick enough. We use hand held carpet cleaner for the more difficult ones, and it comes out easily with that. The fabric is starting to pill, but that’s expected and really my only complaint. Update 3 years in--still beautiful. Got lazy and put the cushion covers in the washer/dryer on low heat instead of using the carpet cleaner, and they came out completely fine & look brand new! It’s just perfect. The back is shorter than we’re all use to but the deep seat makes up for it since you can slouch down and get nice and cozy when lounging. I have 4 dogs, a cat and 3 kids. We have a busy house. I knew by experience that velvet was the best choice for us. Sooooo easy to spot clean and I notice our cat can’t dig his claws into velvet because the knit is too tight.
