Purchased this while it was on sale for $500 and some. I don’t think it’s worth its original price of over $1k. But for what I paid it’s perfect. My front door has been such a mess since we went from a family of 3 to 5 and this has a lot of storage and hanging space. I also love the hidden storage. This isn’t meant for a lot of shoe storage. My husbands size 13 shoes don’t fit well but sizes smaller fit perfect! I’m going to add some peel and stick wallpaper to some of the back pieces and it will make the perfect addition to my home.. We’ve had these for a couple of weeks now, and we’re pleased. We needed storage to hide our golf shoes and paraphernalia, and they tidied up the laundry room nicely. I really like this shoe bench and once put together its looks great and Im hopeful it will help organize the clutter of things I had in this corner. If you are looking forever for a hall tree and you will be glad you decided on this.It’s very sturdy and is a great piece to hold everything that you need by the front door; dog leashes, treats, mail, etc. The cabinet underneath is wonderful to hide away gloves, hats and shoes. We really thought this was going to be an excellent piece. Everything was assembled well except for the bottom. Four doors were misaligned. Three of the four were misaligned and there was no way to fix those other than getting a brand new set which we declined because it was time-consuming to put the furniture together, so we opted to take a discount on it.
