Don't let it's appearance mislead you. The Makeshift collection is really as sturdy and pleasantly comfortable as could be. But perhaps the foremost challenge of modernism is to impart something above the ordinary. To raise expectations, and portray craftsmanship as a delicate work in progress. The nearly free-standing padded leather seat and back, and organically shaped solid ash wood frame, present a paradox of sorts.

This settee is really comfortable for entertaining. The seat height and arm heights are prefect for both my husband and I and he is much taller. I would recommend this piece of furniture. The couch is small and would not look great for a living room unless you’re into tiny furniture. The sofa came in great condition and little to no assembly required.
